Rebecca Pietri supports artists and creative teams through operations, archiving, and strategic planning, helping them maintain organized systems and long-term stability across projects
Her design work bridges research and expression — creating garments for stage, film, and performance projects that draw on material culture, history, and narrative. Her writing extends this lens, examining how clothing, memory, and creative labor function as testimony. Her forthcoming book, The Look That Spoke, deepens this inquiry.
Rebecca has supported leading cultural figures — including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Questlove, Raphael Saadiq, and Steve Lacy — across tours, studios, museums, and archives. She leads major archival initiatives for artists and estates, including Raphael Saadiq’s Blakelee Studio, and Questlove’s Archive including placed materials into permanent institutional collections.
She received Yale’s AI + Archival Innovation Seed Grant for developing new methods to protect creative IP and long-term cultural value.
